The DPI parameter (dots per inch) does not change the pixel size of the images but is used to specify image resolution, linking the inches and pixels together.Usually, the size you specify will apply on the long side, and on the short side, the size will be smaller. When it’s on, the image will keep the original aspect ratio of the source image. Check the Keep proportions setting – in most cases, it should be enabled when resizing. ![]() You can also specify both sizes, in which case the Converter will fit your image into the specified dimensions. This operation is quite flexible since you can apply the same width or height to all your images.
